Rook Technology Limited was established in 2002 to provide technical assistance to companies and organisations in Portsmouth, London, and throughout the UK.

The company was formed by Richard Shutte with the aim to develop a greater awareness of the technical issues regarding computing solutions available to business and the security services. Rook Technology Ltd.'s aim is to develop and install smart solutions that require almost no ongoing maintance. We have always met our customers needs.

This long term maintance free approach gives our customers the ability to understand the systems installed in their organisations. Giving them the ability to manage their own systems.

We develop and install Linux and Windows solutions for clients, this gives us an impartial view as to the most appropriate solution for our customers needs. Our expertise has been used for Metropolitan Police CCTV applications, Firewalls, CCTV Management, Networks (LAN, WAN, VPN), Email, File Storage, Automated Offsite Backup, Pluto, Pluto Media.
